Scholarship Details
1. The WAAW Scholarship Program is a one-time award of $500 to support young African women pursuing STEM education at the undergraduate level.
2. Only STEM-related courses are eligible for consideration.
3. The foundation seeks passionate, driven, and community-oriented scholars who can demonstrate financial need and a desire to make an impact in their communities.
Eligibility Requirements for WAAW Scholarship 2025
To be eligible, applicants must:
* Be female and of African origin, living and studying in Africa.
* Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited university or college in Africa.
* Be studying a STEM-related course (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
* Be a first- or second-year student, or a third-year student for a five-year program.
* Be below 32 years of age.
* Demonstrate financial need.
* Have an excellent academic record.
* Show leadership potential, volunteering experience, and community service involvement.
Duration and Reward
* The WAAW Foundation Scholarship is a one-time financial award of $500.
* Scholars also gain access to mentorship opportunities and are encouraged to participate in STEM community outreach programs.
Required Documents
Applicants must be ready to submit the following documents online:
1. Two (2) Reference Letters submitted by your referees.
2. One (1) signed and sealed copy of your current university transcript.
3. One (1) scanned copy of your school ID card.
