The TotalEnergies OML 58 Scholarship is part of TotalEnergies Nigeria’s corporate social responsibility, aimed at supporting Nigerians, particularly students from host communities, in achieving educational excellence. The scholarship covers full tuition and comprehensive living allowances for selected candidates throughout the duration of their studies, provided they maintain strong academic performance.
Scholarship Details
The TotalEnergies OML 58 Scholarship is designed to support students from OML 58 host communities in their pursuit of higher education. OML 58 consists of five fields:
* Erema
* Olo
* Ubeta
* Obagi (the oldest field in the joint venture and one of the largest in Nigeria)
* Ibewa gas/condensate field
OML 58 is located onshore in Rivers State, approximately 85 kilometres northwest of Port Harcourt. Its upgrade projects aim to improve oil recovery, boost gas supply for industrial and domestic use, increase deliveries to the Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG), and support the Federal Government’s gas flare-out policy.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the TotalEnergies OML 58 Scholarship 2025, applicants must:
* Be a Nigerian citizen
* Be enrolled in an accredited Nigerian public tertiary institution
* Originate from one of the OML 58 host communities: Egi, Igburu, Ekeye, or Ikwerre
* Submit a complete application before the deadline
Scholarship Benefits
