Qatar University is accepting applications from international students worldwide for its 2026 Graduate Scholarships. The Qatar University Graduate Scholarships offer fully funded opportunities for both international and domestic students. All programs are taught in English and provide access to state-of-the-art research facilities.
These scholarships support students pursuing Master’s and PhD programs and provide full financial coverage, including tuition, living expenses, travel, accommodation, and research costs and students benefit from a rich academic environment that promotes discovery, academic growth, and personal development.
Eligibility Requirements (2026)
For Master’s Applicants
* Bachelor’s degree or higher with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8
* Must satisfy any additional college/program-specific requirements
For PhD Applicants
* Master’s degree or higher with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
* GRE/GMAT or other standardized test scores required for English-taught PhD programs
* Applicants with a professional master’s degree (GPA ≥ 3.0) must meet additional college/program requirements
Scholarship Duration and Benefits
Recipients of the Qatar University Graduate Scholarship will receive:
* Full tuition fee exemption
* Textbook fee exemption
* Monthly living allowance
* Student housing (two students per room) with campus transportation
* Annual round-trip airfare
* Residence permit under Qatar University sponsorship
Note: The scholarship must be used beginning the semester it is awarded. Failure to pass the first semester will result in scholarship termination.
