The Erasmus Mundus EMMIE Scholarship Program is funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) initiative. It aims to provide financial assistance to outstanding students from around the world. The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Impact Entrepreneurship (EMMIE) covers full tuition fees, travel and visa costs, accommodation, health insurance, and a living allowance of €1,400 per month.
About the Erasmus Mundus Master in Impact Entrepreneurship (EMMIE)
The EMMIE program is a unique master’s degree designed for individuals who want to drive positive change and contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive society through entrepreneurial innovation.
Program Structure:
* 1st Semester – Croatia: Focus on General Management and the development of essential managerial competencies for future entrepreneurs.
* 2nd Semester – Lithuania: Study Technology and Innovation Management to build creativity and innovation skills necessary for impactful projects.
* 3rd Semester – Belgium (HEC Liège – ULiège): Gain specialized knowledge in entrepreneurship, particularly with an emphasis on impact-driven ventures.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Impact Entrepreneur Scholarship, applicants must:
1. Be of any nationality and from any academic background
2. Be available to attend the full 18-month on-site program.
3. Hold a bachelor’s degree (minimum 240 ECTS) or equivalent qualification.
4. Submit final transcripts and degree certificates before the application deadline (students still completing their degree are not eligible).
5. No specific field of study is required — all disciplines are welcome.
Applicants whose previous degree was conducted in English do not need to submit an additional language proficiency certificate.
Benefits of the Erasmus Mundus EMMIE Scholarship 2026
Successful candidates will receive full coverage of participation and living costs, including:
* Master’s registration fee (€13,500)
* Management fee (laboratory, supervision, and operational costs)
* Health and accident insurance
* Access to university infrastructure (libraries, Wi-Fi, etc.)
* Administrative and accommodation support at each host university
* Monthly living allowance of €1,400 for up to 18 months
Selection Criteria
Applications undergo a two-step evaluation:
1. Eligibility Screening: Ensuring all required documents are complete and criteria are met.
2. Comprehensive Review: Conducted by the EMMIE Selection Committee with representatives from all partner universities.
Selection is based on the following indicators:
* Academic background
* Motivation letter
* Language proficiency
* Entrepreneurial experience and/or ongoing projects
