The National High-Performance Computing (NHR) Graduate School in Germany is offering fully funded PhD scholarships for both German and international students in the field of High-Performance Computing (HPC) and related disciplines.
About the NHR Graduate School Scholarship
The NHR Graduate School awards fully funded PhD scholarships every year to outstanding students interested in High-Performance Computing (HPC).
Each recipient will be placed at one of the nine NHR Centers affiliated with top German universities specializing in HPC, numerical simulation, and AI/ML.

* Engineering
* Related disciplines
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the NHR Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
1. Have completed a Master’s degree in:
* Computer Science
* Mathematics
* Natural Sciences
* Engineering
* Or a comparable field
2. Meet the PhD admission requirements of the supervising NHR Center
3. Comply with doctoral regulations of the host university (additional subject-specific criteria may apply)
4. Open to applicants of all genders, nationalities, and backgrounds
