The Generation Google Scholarship aims to help women in computer science become leaders in the tech industry by supporting their academic goals. Selected candidates will receive a €7,000 award (or local equivalent) for the 2025–2026 academic year.
This scholarship recognizes:

* Passion for advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in tech
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
* Be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited university for the 2024–2025 academic year
* Plan to remain enrolled or be accepted as a full-time student at a university in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa
* Be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
* Demonstrate a strong academic record
* Exhibit leadership qualities and a commitment to inclusion and representation in tech
Scholarship Benefits
* €7,000 (or local equivalent) to support tuition, fees, and education-related expenses
* Recognition as a Generation Google Scholar, joining a global network of future tech leaders
Required Documents
Applicants must prepare and submit:
1. General background information (e.g., contact details, current/intended schools)
2. Resume/CV
3. Academic transcripts from current institution
4. Responses to two essay questions
Essay Questions
Each response should be 500 words or less:
1. Problem-Solving Experience:
Describe a time when you faced a complex problem without a clear solution.
What steps did you take? What resources or solutions did you consider?
What did you learn from the experience?
2. Promoting Equity in Tech:
Describe a barrier that prevents equitable access to technology.
What actions have you taken to address this inequity?
What more do you plan to do?
(At least half your response should focus on your actions.)
