Dalarna University Masters Scholarship 2026

The Dalarna University Master’s Scholarship is a tuition fee waiver opportunity for outstanding international students who wish to pursue a graduate degree at one of Sweden’s top universities. This scholarship is worth up to SEK 90,000 and is awarded as a direct reduction in tuition fees throughout the duration of the Master’s program.

About the Scholarship

Each year, Dalarna University awards a limited number of partial tuition fee waivers to newly admitted international Master’s students. These scholarships:

* Cover 10% to 50% of the tuition fees

* Are automatically deducted in set amounts each semester

* Are awarded based on academic merit and potential

Eligibility Criteria

For New Applicants:

* Must apply for an on-campus Master’s degree program

* Must submit the scholarship application before the program starts

* Only one scholarship application is needed

For Current Students:

Students already enrolled at Dalarna University may also qualify for a tuition fee reduction, provided they:

* Have completed at least 1 semester at Master’s level (or 2 at Bachelor’s)

* Are continuing in the same program full-time

* Have at least 50% VG / 5 / A or B grades (depending on grading scale)

* Have no failing grades, and all previous credits must be completed

* Are assessed as "outstanding" by their program faculty

Scholarship Benefits

There are two types of scholarships available for 2026:

1. Choose Dalarna First Scholarship: A SEK 5,000 tuition reduction awarded to students who rank a Dalarna program first during admission

2. Academic Excellence Scholarship: Awarded based on academic performance and continues throughout the study period if the student meets the criteria

To apply for the Dalarna University Master’s Scholarship 2026, follow the steps below:

1. Visit the program’s webpage

2. Apply for admission to a Master’s program at Dalarna University

3. Submit your scholarship application before the program begins

4. Upload all required documents and complete your application by the stated deadlines

   * Spring Semester Deadline: July 15, 2025

   * Autumn Semester Deadline: March 1, 2026
