Egbin Power Plc has announced the Egbin PowerUp Internship Program 2025, a paid industrial training opportunity for eligible undergraduate students in Nigeria who are eager to gain hands-on experience.
About the Internship Program
The Egbin Power Internship Program is a six-month industrial training initiative designed for undergraduate students to apply classroom knowledge in real industrial settings. Selected students will work and learn at Egbin Power Plc, the largest single generating power station in Black Africa, while receiving monthly stipends and allowances.

Egbin Power Plc is West Africa’s largest power generation station with an installed capacity of 1,320 MW, consisting of 6 Units of 220MW each. As one of Nigeria’s most impactful contributors to the electricity industry, Egbin Power aims to lead the movement to “Light up Nigeria” and the broader sub-Saharan African region.
Fields of Study Eligible
The internship is open to students pursuing degrees in the following fields:
* Engineering
* Applied Industrial Science
* Computer Science
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Egbin PowerUp Internship Program 2025, applicants must:
* Be an undergraduate student enrolled in a Nigerian university
* Have a minimum academic standing of Second-Class Upper Division (2:1) or its equivalent
