Must apply for a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Miami

Must meet first-year admission requirements

Must be classified as an international student

Stamps Scholarship is awarded automatically to Early Decision or Early Action applicants who meet all criteria

Include a personal statement (650 words) & a 250-word supplemental essay (for Spring/Fall 2025)

Completion of UM’s Intensive English Program (Level 5)

Selected semi-finalist candidates for the Stamps Scholarship are asked to write a short response to a pre-determined essay prompt.

Finalists will be selected based on a review of candidates’ applications and supporting documents, including their responses to the pre-determined essay prompt.

Winners will be notified of their status as finalists at the time of admission in late January.

Finalists will be interviewed by the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation thereafter and Stamps Scholarship announcements will be made by early March.
