Flinders University RTP Scholarship Details
The Flinders University RTP Scholarship is offered under the Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship (AGRTPS). It is specifically designed to support international students to undertake a Higher Degree by Research at Flinders University. The AGRTPS is awarded to candidates who demonstrate outstanding aptitude for independent research, and selections are made based on academic merit, research training, and research indicators, as well as performance.
Eligibility Requirements for Flinders University Scholarship 2025
To be considered, you must:
1. Be a citizen of any overseas country except New Zealand and not hold Australian citizenship, Australian permanent resident status, or New Zealand citizenship.
2. Intend to commence full-time study for a Higher Degree by Research in Australia for the first time in the award year.
3. Students who started in the previous year but missed the AGRTPS application window or withdrew within six months may still be eligible.
4. Intend to enroll in an area of research concentration where Flinders University has demonstrated strength and external funding.
5. Satisfy all entry requirements for a Higher Degree by Research, including English proficiency as per the HDR Candidature Requirements.

* Tuition fee offset for up to 4 years.
* An establishment allowance of up to $1,485 to help with relocation and airfare costs (with receipts).

2️⃣ Submit an application for admission to a Higher Degree by Research (PhD or Master's by Research).
3️⃣ After admission, apply for the International RHD Scholarship Group.
4️⃣ If you already have an admission offer, no need to reapply for admission.
5️⃣ Contact an academic staff member at Flinders and get their informal agreement to supervise you if successful (include email evidence of this agreement in your application).
Note: Applicants without a confirmed supervisor will not be considered for AGRTPS/FIPRS.
