Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
* Be an international student (non-US citizen & non-US permanent resident).
* Apply for financial aid at the time of admission.
* Be a first-year undergraduate applicant (transfer students are not eligible).
* Have a strong academic record.
* Provide proof of English language proficiency (test scores optional but encouraged if needed).

Required Documents
When applying, students must submit:
1. Student Financial Aid Worksheet (via UChicago Account).
2. Supporting financial documents (translated into English & converted to USD):
- Tax forms (or equivalent)
- Employer statement of income
- Bank statements
- Asset verification (savings, investments, property)
3. High school transcripts & Secondary School Report.
4. Two teacher recommendations.
5. Personal statement & UChicago Supplement essays.
6. Proof of English proficiency (if applicable).

3. Complete the Student Financial Aid Worksheet online.
