The University of Warwick Postgraduate Research Scholarships offer fully funded PhD opportunities for doctoral candidates in the Department of Chemistry, as part of the Net2Zero Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Negative Emission Technologies.
Scholarship Overview
This opportunity is part of a collaborative initiative funded by the EPSRC and BBSRC, delivered in partnership with:

The Net2Zero CDT aims to develop world-class researchers equipped to work in the rapidly expanding field of engineered negative emission technologies, contributing to global efforts to achieve net zero emissions.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the University of Warwick Postgraduate Research Scholarship, you must:
* Be qualified as a Home Student (UK-based)
* Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum 60% weighted average (or be on track to achieve it)
* Hold a First or Upper Second-Class Honors degree (or equivalent) in a related subject
Scholarship Benefits
* Full tuition fee coverage paid by Net2Zero
* Tax-free stipend at the UKRI rate: £20,780 for 2025/26
* Access to a generous Research Training Support Grant (covers travel, training, project-related costs)
