The Oando Foundation Green Youth Upskilling Program (GYUP) is a transformative initiative created to equip passionate Nigerian youth with the skills, knowledge, and resources required to thrive in the green and technical sectors. This opportunity includes hands-on training, mentorship, grants and funding, and exposure to renewable energy, recycling innovation, sustainable agriculture, and climate technology.
About the Green Youth Upskilling Program
This initiative is part of Oando Foundation’s commitment to supporting Nigeria’s transition to a sustainable economy by investing in youth capacity building, innovation, and green entrepreneurship.
The program is designed to identify and empower young changemakers interested in building meaningful careers in the green economy.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Oando Foundation GYUP, applicants must:
* Be a Nigerian citizen, aged 20–35 years old
* Have completed at least secondary education (SSCE)
* Demonstrate a strong interest in green or technical fields
* Be fully available to participate in all sessions (virtual or physical)
* Submit a complete application with all required documents
*Bonus (optional but beneficial): Experience in green/technical work through volunteering, self-learning, internships, or informal jobs.
