About the Heirs OML 17 HCDT University Scholarship
The OML 17 Heirs of Tomorrow University Scholarship is a transformative educational support initiative by Heirs Energies and its Host Community Development Trust (HCDT). It is part of Heirs Oil and Gas Company Limited’s broader mission to drive development through education empowerment in OML 17 host communities.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must:
* Be a Nigerian citizen and an indigene of any of the OML 17 host communities
* Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a federal or state-owned university in Nigeria
* Have at least five (5) O-level credits, including Mathematics and English, in one sitting (WASSCE, SSCE, or NECO)
* Be a full-time student
* Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 5.0 scale or 2.5 on a 4.0 scale throughout the scholarship duration
* Not be a recipient of any other scholarship, bursary, or grant
* Provide a valid identification letter from their host community

* Award of ₦200,000 annually until graduation
* Financial relief for tuition, books, and other academic-related expenses
