The African Union CIEFFA and ImpactHER are co-hosting the 2025 African Union Capacity Building Training to empower men and women across Africa with vital skills in STEAM, digital literacy, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.
About the Training
This online capacity-building training focuses on:
* Tackling challenges faced by young women and men in Africa
* Providing skills development and access to STEAM through gender-responsive education
* Equipping women teachers to effectively teach STEAM and digital literacy subjects

1. African Union CIEFFA:
The International Center for Girls and Women’s Education in Africa is a specialized AU institution under the Department of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (ESTI). It promotes gender equality in education across Africa.
2.ImpactHER:
An award-winning non-profit empowering African female entrepreneurs by bridging the gender financing gap and enabling them to achieve their full economic potential.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, applicants must:
* Be an African woman or man (residing in Africa or abroad)
* Show motivation to learn digital, entrepreneurial, and financial skills
* Demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to advancing girls’ and women’s education
* Have access to a stable internet connection and a device (smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc.)
* Understand one of the training languages: English, French, or Portuguese
Benefits
Participants will:
* Gain knowledge in gender equality, digital skills, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy
* Receive a certificate in each program (with at least 80% attendance)
* Join the African Union CIEFFA and ImpactHER networks
* Increase their chances of being invited to fully-funded in-person programs
* Access other fully-funded online training opportunities
