The Radboud Scholarship Program offers talented, highly motivated non-EEA students with outstanding academic results the opportunity to receive a scholarship for a complete English-taught Master’s program at Radboud University in the Netherlands.
This scholarship is funded by the Profiling Fund of Radboud University and provides up to €15,000 per year in tuition reduction. It also covers the cost of a visa, a residence permit, health insurance, and liability insurance during your stay in the Netherlands.
Scholarship Details
If you are selected as a scholarship recipient and admitted to a two-year Master’s program, you must pass all first-year courses to qualify for the grant in your second year.
Please note:
- The Radboud Scholarship cannot be combined with the Radboud Encouragement Scholarship or the Fulbright-Radboud Scholarship.
- You may apply for more than one scholarship, but only one can be awarded.
- However, the Radboud Scholarship can be combined with the NL Scholarship.
2026 Radboud University Scholarship Requirements
To be eligible for the Radboud University Scholarship, applicants must:
- Hold a non-EU/non-EEA passport.
- Not be eligible for the lower EU/EEA tuition fee.
- Have (or be obtaining) a Bachelor’s degree achieved outside the Netherlands, with no prior degrees or full education in the Netherlands (except short exchange programs).
- Meet the English language proficiency requirement for the chosen Master’s program.
- Have received full admission to an English-taught Master’s program starting 1 September 2024, as stated in the formal admission letter.
- Be able to meet the visa conditions for studying in the Netherlands.
- Be enrolled full-time at Radboud University for the specific academic year and Master’s program for which the scholarship is granted.
Scholarship Duration and Reward
* The scholarship will reduce your tuition fee to €2,530 (for 2026/2027, tuition will be €2,690 instead of €18,000).
* It also covers costs for visa, residence permit, health insurance, and liability insurance (Aon Student Insurance).
Note: Living and study expenses in the Netherlands are not covered by this scholarship.

How to Apply for the Radboud Scholarship 2026
1. Visit the official scholarship webpage.
2. During your Master’s program application in the OSIRIS Application System, indicate that you wish to apply for the Radboud Scholarship.
3. You will then be asked to upload three additional documents:
* Two reference letters
* Curriculum vitae (CV)
4. If you already uploaded these documents for your Master’s application, you may reuse them for your scholarship application.
5. Note that admission to a Master’s program does not guarantee selection for the scholarship.
The admission and scholarship selection are two separate processes.
