The Dangote Management Trainee Program is a prestigious 18-month intensive program that blends the rigor of an MBA with the hands-on experience of a business rotation scheme. It is tailored to groom resilient, enterprise-minded leaders capable of driving impact in Africa’s largest cement manufacturing company. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain cross-functional exposure, executive mentorship, and real-world project experience across operations, commercial, and corporate divisions.
Eligibility for Dangote Management Trainee Program 2025
To be considered for the Dangote Cement Management Trainee Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
* Be between 28 and 35 years old
* Have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
* Possess 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience
* Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) (HND applies for technical roles)
* Demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills
* Be comfortable with data-driven decision-making
* Show leadership potential and the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels
* Exhibit resilience and adaptability to thrive in dynamic and demanding industrial environments

Program Expectations
Participants will:
1. Complete a 1-month classroom immersion on business strategy, economic analysis, cement industry fundamentals, risk management, and leadership.
2. Undertake structured rotations across Operations & Technical, Commercial & Distribution, and Corporate Support functions.
3. Participate in site visits and extended assignments at major plants and depots.
4. Work on high-impact strategic projects, concluding with a capstone presentation to senior leadership.
5. Engage in three leadership labs focused on personal mastery, team leadership, and enterprise leadership.
6. Receive mentorship from cross-border C-level executives.
7. Maintain a reflective development journal and participate in peer learning circles.
8. Demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and influence skills in real-world industrial and business settings.
Program Outcomes
Upon successful completion, trainees will:
