The University College London (UCL) Global Masters Scholarship 2026 is now open for applications!
This prestigious award aims to support and empower international students from lower-income backgrounds to pursue full-time Master’s degree studies at one of the world’s leading universities; University College London (UCL). The scholarship offers a £15,000 financial award to successful candidates seeking postgraduate admission to study in the United Kingdom’s capital.
About UCL:
Established in 1826 and officially known as UCL since 2005, University College London is a public research university and a member of the federal University of London.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the UCL Global Masters Scholarship, applicants must:
* Be eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate
* Come from a lower-income background
* Have submitted a complete admission application (including references) for a full-time Master’s degree at UCL in 2026/27
Note:
* Distance-learning programs are not eligible.
* Applicants must be physically present in the UK to attend UCL.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful candidates will receive:
* A £15,000 bursary towards study expenses
* Scholarship tenable for one year (or split 50/50 for a two-year full-time program)
* Can be combined with other scholarships or awards (amount may be adjusted if other funding is received)
* Funds applied first to tuition fees, with any remaining balance paid in three equal installments toward living costs
