The Robotics Artificial Intelligence Nigeria (RAIN) is calling for applications from passionate and tech-savvy youths for the 2025 RAIN Scholarship. RAIN aims to bridge the skill gap in Nigeria and West Africa by equipping participants with in-demand tech skills for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).
The program offers free tuition training in:
* Robotics Design
* Drone Technology
* Internet of Things (IoT)
* Embedded Systems
Eligible Applicants
Young Nigerians and West African Candidates
Scholarship Benefits
* Tuition Coverage (worth up to ₦7,700,000)
* Free Starter Kit
* 12 or 24-Month Intensive Training
* No IELTS Required

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the RAIN Scholarship, you must meet the following:
Academic Requirements
* Recent graduates (First-class degree holders preferred)
* Strong academic references
* Background in Engineering, Computer Science, Computing, Mathematics, or Physical Sciences
Technical Requirements
* Strong coding skills (especially in Python, C++, or C)
* Demonstrated passion for Robotics, AI, or Automation
* Must own a laptop (16GB RAM, Core i7 recommended)
* Willing to relocate or arrange accommodation in Ibadan
Required Documents
Applicants must submit:
* CV/Resume
* Two Recommendation Letters (addressed to the Director, RAIN)
* Academic Transcripts
* Proof of Coding Projects
* Any other supporting documents as requested
