Eligibility Requirements (2026)

To qualify for the France Government Eiffel Excellence Scholarship, applicants must:

* Be non-French nationals

* Be a foreign student applying to a French institution

* Master’s applicants: Must be 27 years old or younger at the time of the 2026 competition

* Ph.D. applicants: Must be 32 years old or younger at the time of the 2026 competition

* Not currently holding another French government scholarship at the time of application

How to Apply 

* Step 1 – Apply to a recognized French Institution

* Submit an application for admission to a recognized French educational institution or research organization.

* Contact the International Relations Department of your chosen institution (via website, email, or phone) to inquire about the Eiffel Scholarship terms and deadlines.

* You are free to choose any eligible French university or school relevant to your level of study.

* You may also seek guidance from Espace Campus France in your home country or the French Embassy’s Cooperation and Cultural Action Department.

Step 2 – Institutional Endorsement

* The chosen institution accepts and supports your Eiffel Scholarship application.

* The institution then submits your application online via the Campus France website.
